A type of vehicle drive system. Power is given to the front wheels. This is a more complex system than rear wheel drive because not only must the front wheels manouver to allow steering, they must also provide power to propell the automobile. This type of drive prevents fish tailing of the autmobile and is easier to keep control in winter. This type of drive is most common to small automobiles and minivans.
